Job Title: Airgun Shop & Range Assistant

Based at: Patriot Outdoors in Bellville
Reporting to: Johan Kemp
Responsible for: Assisting with running the Airgun Shop & Indoor Range at Patriot Outdoors

We are looking for a Airgun Shop & Range Assistant to join our team at our Gun Store and Range Range team at Patriot Outdoors.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge on airguns, a passion for shooting, and associated sports as well as a love for all things relating to the outdoor life.

You will also be able to communicate well as part of the front store team assisting with sales in the shop, be comfortable and enjoy dealing with the public face to face and via telephone.

Responsibilities:

Other essential duties include:

• Maintaining a positive attitude and being customer focused.
• Routinely meet and exceed customer needs.
• Welcome and greet customers
• Quickly establish and maintain a working knowledge of the products you are selling.
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Assisting on the range
• Assisting with bookings for the range
• Answering the telephone
• Ensuring the retail store, range and various areas are neat and clean.
• Assisting with Membership Applications and
• General Shop Administration

Additional Job Info:

• Working days and hours will include:
• Tuesdays – Fridays from 10h00 – 17h00 (on Wednesdays to 20h00)
• Alternative Saturdays from 09h00 – 14h00
• Once a month Saturday League events from 09h00 – 17h00
