Range Officer.

Patriot Outdoors is looking for a Range Officer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a first-time job and with a passion for airguns and that want to expand their knowledge and experience within this industry.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Afrikaans and English, eager to learn and enjoy working with people and children. Working experience is a bonus but not a must if the candidate is passionate about the trade and eager to learn.

Must have reliable transport and be willing to work weekends.
Preferable lives in closed proximity of range in Stikland. – Northern Suburbs

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the below)

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the range.
• Assist clients with any queries in the shop and answer any technical questions.
• Take bookings and answer the telephone.
• Make clients aware of our memberships and any specials we have currently ongoing.
• Ensure that clients are following the strict protocol of the range.
• Ensure set up on the range is complete before the client’s arrival, especially for group events.
• Ensure that the range is always neat and clean.
• Ensure that the guns on the range are always accurate and working 100%.
• Run Kids parties, Group bookings and individual bookings.
• Handle the cash register – Take payments for bookings and products sold.
• Welcome clients and ensure all paperwork have been completed – especially Indemnity forms.
• Run the individual client sessions.
• Check daily that stock is in its place and has not been moved around.
• Drive sales once you have a knowledge of all the products.
